S.M. Kozubek: Retired from practicing law, S.M. Kozubek is an attorney, writer, author and teacher. His work is published in many publications, many of which can be read online. He practiced law for more than 25 years. For 14 years a major portion of his practice has been devoted to the area of child protection, first as an attorney and law guardian in New York State, and then as an attorney in the Cook County Public Guardian’s Office representing children in cases of child abuse and neglect in Cook County Juvenile Court. #juvenilecourt He is also a former criminal prosecutor and defense attorney. His educational background includes the following degrees: Albany Law School of Union University, Albany, NY, J.D. Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Mass., B.S., Humanities and Science
